I am an object-experience designer bringing the audience and consumers everyday whimsicality. Based on forgotten mourning rites and beliefs related research I recreate a fairytale like nostalgia and encapsulate it in my designs hand crafted with meticulous care. Combining traditional craftsmanship with modern sensibilities allows me to thread magic through devices and this way conjure up modern, yet archaic artefacts.
Currently I work with ceramics, wood, illustration, textiles and metal alongside research focused on contemporary mourning, medieval divination and innovative methods of grieving.
