When I squint my eyes surfaces reflect light which leaps from edge to edge. My vision shifts and the objects move. A pattern swirls, dark shades vibrate, silver howls and screams.
I had the pleasure to be the host of 2023 Madame Poire performances at Korzo Theater, taking on the role of a knight, a guide and a ghost-like presence strolling through, wearing a self designed and made costume. Its main focus – an aluminium cast, armoured arm piece with segments based on previously crocheted lace. Softness in hardness, ringing with every slightest move.
